Our Mission

The Center for Asbestos Disease (CARD) Foundation was established in 2008 to develop relationships and financial resources in support of CARD. A completely separate 501 © 3, tax-exempt entity from CARD, the Foundation accepts gifts on behalf of CARD and works to fund both present and future needs of the clinic.

The CARD Foundation mission is to seek sources of funding to support the goals of the Center for Asbestos Related Disease. The immediate goals of the Foundation are to:

  1. Raise support to fund the healthcare, research, and outreach needs of CARD.
  2. Raise support to fund a patient care and research facility which will allow the CARD community of physicians, researchers, and staff to better serve the demands of the patient population.
